School charter and prospectus
The kereru: The major focus in our school logo is the Native Wood Pigeon (kereru).
The kereru eats in the morning. This is the kereru’s only meal for the day. It sits in the highest reaches of the trees and delivers its prayer. The phrase is a greeting to the new day. When the sun rises, the phrase is part of the kereru prayer, a greeting to the new day. The kereru is the protector of the birds of the forest. The kereru provides guidance and leadership.
Pursue (you, us) the path you desire, carve that road
Do not let anything block that vision
